When to book a sick visit
A same-day sick visit is the right call for the everyday illnesses and injuries of childhood. If your child has any of these, give us a call:
- Fever, chills, or the flu
- Cough, cold, congestion, or sore throat

How do I get a same-day appointment?
Call our office at (606) 717-0177, ideally in the morning. Tell us what's going on and we'll find the earliest opening — often the same day.
What if it's after hours?
Call the same number. During weekday evenings and weekends we can set up an after-hours telehealth video visit, or help you decide whether your child should be seen in person or needs emergency care.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept Medicaid, KCHIP, and major commercial plans. If you're not sure about your coverage, call and we'll help you sort it out.
Do I need to be an established patient?
No — we're accepting new patients with no waitlist. You can register online before your visit, and we care for children from infancy through age 21.
